What does net expense ratio mean?

The total annual operating expenses of a fund or class directly paid by the fund after any fee waiver and/or reimbursements (from the fund's most recent prospectus), including acquired fund fees and expenses, expressed as a percentage of the fund's assets, as a dollar amount or in basis points, through a reduction in the investment's rate of return.
